Amendment of Guardian Activity Act
Guardian Activity Act
1. We shall require Guardians to give notice before being inactive for longer than 48 hours.
2. We shall limit Guardian inactivity to 10 days before they are impeached by default.
3. The Vice Chancellor shall issue a 48 hour warning to any nation holding a place at the Round Table that has been inactive for 48 hours without notice or if they have been inactive 10 days with notice. If no response is received from the offending nation within 48 hours, the nation shall thereby be impeached.
4. In the event of a vacancy due to impeachment of a Guardian for inactivity, an Interim election shall be called to fill the vacancy. If the impeached Guardian was initially appointed by the Grand Chancellor, then the Grand Chancellor may appoint a new nation to fill the vacancy, or keep the seat empty.
5. The Vice Chancellor shall hold the right to impeach any Guardian who misses 5 votes of the Round Table per term.
6. The Vice Chancellor shall hold the right to impeach any Guardian who misses 3 consecutive votes.
7. The Vice Chancellor may require that a Guardian not miss more than 5 meetings without direct permission from the Vice Chancellor.
