Election Tie-Breaker Act

In the event that any election end in a tie at the end of the allotted election period, the following conditions shall go into effect:

1. In the event that an election for Grand Chancellor ends in a tie, the Vice Chancellor shall declare the vote as having ended in a tie, and the voting period shall be extended for an additional 48 hours. If the tie still stands at the end of the additional 48-hours, the election shall be declared null and void, and a re-vote shall occur.

2. In the event that an election for Vice Chancellor ends in a tie, the voting period shall be extended for an additional 24 hours. If the tie still stands at the end of the additional 24-hours, the election shall be declared null and void, and a re-vote shall occur.

3. In the event that an election for any Guardian position ends in a tie, the voting period shall be extended for an additional 48 hours. If the tie still stands at the end of the additional 48-hours, the Vice Chancellor shall choose the new Guardian from the pool of tied-vote delegates.
